Mastering

I have been mastering recordings since last century, on a variety of evolving formats, from CD and SACD to Digital and streaming. I believe that it is about respecting the decisions that have gone into the production and mixing of the original recording while making sure it is delivered sounding as good and as clean as it can be. Sometimes that means not having to do much, sometimes things need a little more work; the trick is to know which.

I also have been fortunate enough to remaster some wonderful and well known classic recordings together with some huge box sets and have worked on sound restoration to rescue some important historic recordings for release.
